“I’d have to say its the toughest mortgage environment that I’ve seen in my time in the business. It’s actually unprecedented how conservative lenders, in particular big banks, have gotten over the last year. I think the end result- its actually quite unfortunate, It’s freezing out from the markets a lot of very high quality borrowers, who in years gone past would have had access to loans that are really being frozen out today.”
